Support Group Resources

Boston Scientific is dedicated to enhancing and expanding access to
CRM therapy information that helps to facilitate patients and their families
making informed decisions about their heart health.

Patients make decisions about their therapy options from the minute they believe they have cardiovascular disease—after a syncopal event, an experience with chest pain, or as a survivor of sudden cardiac arrest. Should they receive an implantable cardioverter defibrillator, other types of questions will arise about how to live with the therapy.

The ICD Patient Group Meeting in a Box

Patient feedback tells us that talking with others who have been through similar experiences helps many device patients feel less alone. For clinicians, a patient group can be a place to learn more about patient concerns, and provide information and advice that may lead to better compliance and better outcomes.

Boston Scientific has created a set of presentations for use with such groups.
